Stepping onto the stage is BETHANY Who would play Bethany in a film?   Sheridan Smith!  Pictured above. I have cast Sheridan in this role as she is currently starring in the reprise of the one woman play,  Shirley Valentine  at the Duke of York's Theatre, Covent Garden, 17th Feb - 3rd June 23. Apparently the tickets sold out within minutes, quicker even than for a Beyoncé concert! This reveals the popularity not only of Sheridan Smith, but also that of  Shirley Valentine !    But how, you may well ask, is that relevant to Bethany?   Angel at the Paradise Hotel Hello and welcome, Building on my last posts I want to introduce you to another main character in  Angel at the Paradise Hotel.   Stepping onto the stage is AERON! Who would play Aeron in a film?   Ryan Reynolds! Pictured above. Ryan, Canadian-American actor, film producer, and entrepreneur, also co-owner of the Welsh football club Wrexham A.F.C. (couldn't resist the Welsh link) would make a fantastic Aeron!!  If you have read my previous posts you will already know that  Aeron , from America, battling a mid-life crisis, is closer to despair than he realizes.  He's actually risking a lot by spending a whole summer away from home and the least of it is his job.  He does his best to hold himself together but the odds are stacked against him. Pictured above. Poppy was born to British parents in Stockholm. but she would make a fantastic Irish colleen. Poppy was actually paired up with Aneurin Barnard (my perfect pick for who would play Jason in a film) in the recent TV series The Catch.  If you have read my previous posts you will already know that Clare, running from a broken relationship, is drawn into a love triangle with Jason. She's not a pushover though!  She has red hair and the feisty character that I know, from personal experience, goes with that. M y lovely late-mum was a redhead! Angel at the Paradise Hotel                                                             Aneurin Barnard Hello and welcome, Building on my last two posts I want to start to introduce the main characters in Angel at the Paradise Hotel.   Stepping onto the stage first is JASON Who would play Jason in a film?    Aneurin Barnard! Yes, he's Welsh (from Bridgend not far from my native Cardiff, yay!!) but he'd make a brilliant Greek Jason. I loved watching him on TV recently in The Catch. If you have read my previous post you will already know that Jason is a hotelier. Actually, he's the manager of the Paradise Hotel. Oh, yes! Now you're almost getting in the door.  Unlike a lot of his peers Jason is very well educated and speaks impeccable English.  His Achilles heal is his love of money.
