Locals revolt against tourists! Highly topical read
Hello dear friend, I hope your summer is going well so far! Wherever you plan to vacation this year if you are looking for a holiday read, Angel at the Paradise Hotel , though set on the Greek island of Corfu, actually reflects the mixed opinions of locals in all resorts . Some want us there and others don't. Simple as! With many countries, such as Spain and the Netherlands, vociferously saying that they are sick of tourists perhaps it is time to consider what it must be like for the locals in our favourite holiday destination. Could these protestors have a point? And is there a way for us to still visit but to do so in a more acceptable way?
