Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you are keeping well and enjoying your summer, or winter - depending on which part of the globe you live!

I've had a number of people contacting me via Facebook asking how they can buy my book in Corfu and / or Athens. 

I've been in touch with my publisher about this. As the book is set in Corfu and I was a journalist in Athens it is crazy that it doesn't seem to be on sale in either place. 

Meantime, I've found a bookstore on E-bay who will ship it to Greece without charge. 

What's the novel about?

When tourism transforms a fishing village on the green and beautiful Greek island of Corfu, old hatred, envy and greed threaten to tear the community apart. Behind the scenes, personal demons fuel division while guardian angels battle to neutralize their influence.

Hotelier Jason - planning to get rich - ruthlessly chases his goal, unaware of the trouble and danger he is stirring up. Three visitors from Ireland, America, and Wales bring their own problems. Clare, running from a broken relationship, is drawn into a love triangle with Jason. Aeron, battling a mid-life crisis, is closer to despair than he realizes - while Bethany, jolted by a Big Birthday into doing a Shirley Valentine, is hoping it will sort her life out.

As the sizzling summer unfolds, each faces make-or-break challenges. Extra help is at hand though, with the arrival of Gabriella, angel of Greece. When meddling demons prevail, and smouldering greed and vengeance reach flashpoint, can she avert disaster?

I am currently re-reading the novel and it is really taking me back to the summer of 1992 when I began my personal Greek Odyssey. Ooh, lovely! Such a happy time.

Angel at the Paradise Hotel   Hello and welcome, Building on my last posts I want to introduce you to another main character in  Angel at the Paradise Hotel.   Stepping onto the stage is CLARE Who would play Clare in a film?   Poppy Gilbert! Pictured above. Poppy was born to British parents in Stockholm. but she would make a fantastic Irish colleen. Get into character - Bethany

Angel at the Paradise Hotel Hello and welcome, I hope you are enjoying the backstory to my upcoming novel,  Angel at the Paradise Hotel ! I'd love to introduce you to another main character. Stepping onto the stage is BETHANY Who would play Bethany in a film?   Sheridan Smith!  Pictured above. I have cast Sheridan in this role as she is currently starring in the reprise of the one woman play,  Shirley Valentine  at the Duke of York's Theatre, Covent Garden, 17th Feb - 3rd June 23. Apparently the tickets sold out within minutes, quicker even than for a Beyoncé concert! This reveals the popularity not only of Sheridan Smith, but also that of  Shirley Valentine !    But how, you may well ask, is that relevant to Bethany?
