  Hello dear friend, Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you are keeping well and enjoying your summer, or winter - depending on which part of the globe you live! I've had a number of people contacting me via Facebook asking how they can buy my book in Corfu and / or Athens.  I've been in touch with my publisher about this. As the book is set in Corfu and I was a journalist in Athens it is crazy that it doesn't seem to be on sale in either place.  Meantime, I've found a bookstore on E-bay who will ship it to Greece without charge.  What's the novel about? Locals revolt against tourists! Highly topical read

  Hello dear friend, I hope your summer is going well so far! Wherever you plan to vacation this year if you are looking for a holiday read,  Angel at the Paradise Hotel , though set on the Greek island of Corfu, actually  reflects the mixed opinions of locals in  all  resorts . Some want us there and others don't. Simple as!  With many countries, such as Spain and the Netherlands, vociferously saying that they are sick of tourists perhaps it is time to consider what it must be like for the locals in our favourite holiday destination. Could these protestors have a point? And is there a way for us to still visit but to do so in a more acceptable way? As Angel at the Paradise Hotel shows the backstory of a budding resort there are definitely things to be learnt and taken on board. Angel at the Paradise Hotel Hello and welcome, I hope you are enjoying the backstory to my upcoming novel,  Angel at the Paradise Hotel ! I'd love to introduce you to another main character. Stepping onto the stage is BETHANY Who would play Bethany in a film?   Sheridan Smith!  Pictured above. I have cast Sheridan in this role as she is currently starring in the reprise of the one woman play,  Shirley Valentine  at the Duke of York's Theatre, Covent Garden, 17th Feb - 3rd June 23. Apparently the tickets sold out within minutes, quicker even than for a Beyoncé concert!   Angel at the Paradise Hotel Hello and welcome, Building on my last posts I want to introduce you to another main character in  Angel at the Paradise Hotel.   Stepping onto the stage is AERON! Who would play Aeron in a film?   Ryan Reynolds! Pictured above. Ryan, Canadian-American actor, film producer, and entrepreneur, also co-owner of the Welsh football club Wrexham A.F.C. (couldn't resist the Welsh link) would make a fantastic Aeron!!  If you have read my previous posts you will already know that  Aeron , from America, battling a mid-life crisis, is closer to despair than he realizes.  He's actually risking a lot by spending a whole summer away from home and the least of it is his job.  He does his best to hold himself together but the odds are stacked against him.
